Work History
Georgina has spent the last 25 years working in both the public and private sector. Her career has been diverse - commencing in education, librarianship and information management from where she establishing an information services company owned by the nation's Ministers of Education. Using this experience in government liaison, business management and marketing she moved into the commercial world where she has worked as a senior Divisional Manager in a large retail company and a senior marketer in telecommunications.
Georgina also extended her work in education as a lecturer in information management and business studies in the Education Faculty of the University of Melbourne. Key areas of teaching responsibility included research methods and management.
Georgina's last role prior to establishing Performance Growth was as Executive Director of Business Skills Victoria (BSV) for more than six years. BSV is Victoria's largest Industry Training Board owned by the State's major industry associations including Victorian Employers Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Australian Industry Group, the Australian Institute of Management, the Australian Retailers Association (Victoria) and the Real Estate Institute of Victoria.
During her career Georgina has developed strengths in strategic planning, marketing, policy development and advocacy and organisational development. Her key strengths include:
